This charming restaurant specializes in mouthwatering Japanese cuisine, providing patrons with an enticing menu that features an array of sushi offerings, fresh sashimi, and delectable appetizers. The ambiance is warm and inviting, perfect for a casual dinner with friends or a cozy date night. As soon as you step inside, the scent of fresh fish mingling with the earthy aroma of rice instantly whets your appetite.

Starting with their standout appetizers, the Seafood Sunomono offers a refreshing mix of ebi, tako, and real crab for just CA$12.90, while the Cucumber Wheel, loaded with chopped tuna, salmon, avocado, and drizzled with ponzu and spicy mayo, is not to be missed at only CA$6.90. For something truly unique, the Inari Pockets filled with unagi and sushi rice in deep-fried tofu with spicy sauce at just CA$10.90 are sure to tantalize your tastebuds.

Moving on to the sushi, don’t overlook the vibrant Rainbow Roll and the indulgent Toro Sashimi, a treat for the senses priced at CA$21.90. Reviewers rave about their experiences, with Brenna Roux describing the “amazing Dragon Roll sushi” and how she wished she could eat more—now that’s a testimony to how delightful each bite can be! Similarly, Ninet Moon enjoyed the “amazing staff” alongside dishes like the dynamite roll and seafood sunomono, underlining that the overall experience surpasses expectations.

For those concerned about freshness, Sushi Field is highly regarded for its quality seafood. Geoffrey Soo Chan highlighted the fresh, odorless sushi that showcases the chef's commitment to excellence. After trying their lunch social sushi combo, he noted the perfect texture and the delightfully sweet tempura sauce, hinting at a level of care and precision in each dish.

However, every gem has its flaws. Customer reviews indicate some room for improvement; some dishes didn’t meet expectations, such as the dynamite roll and tempura being overly thick or not served at the right temperature. Joanna Snow's experience with delivery challenges reminds us that takeout can sometimes be hit or miss. Still, with mostly positive feedback, many seem willing to overlook minor hiccups for the delicious flavors offered.

If you're an avid sushi lover looking to try out a new spot in Victoria, Sushi Field is definitely a must-visit. Every visit invites exploration through various flavors, textures, and beautifully crafted rolls that highlight the culinary creativity of the chefs. Come for the sushi, but stay for the experience—you won’t be disappointed!

Amazing Dragon Roll sushi! I wish I had a bigger stomach to be able to eat more...it was so good! We also had ramen with seafood. The service was quick with complentary green tea. I would go back again.

Loved the food + amazing staff. Ordered dynamite roll, seafood sunomono, rainbow roll and toro sashimi. One of the best in Victoria Toro was so good.

First time here so didn’t know what to expect. Ordered by phone ahead of time to be picked up. Ordered the lunch social sushi large combo. The tempura was lightly and perfectly fried. Tasted fresh. The tempura sauce had a hint of sweetness which was really good. I think they added cinnamon? The sushi was odorless (which means it was still fresh) and had a good texture to them. The girl who took my order was cheerful and pleasant to deal with. I would return for the fantastic value of their lunch combo

I want to share my experience. I am very picky about the quality and availability of varieties of sushi and rolls. I've been to a lot of places, even Langford and Sooke, but I liked this one the most. The rolls are a good big size, not a lot of rice, a good variety of options, and very tasty and fresh. More smiles from the service wouldn’t hurt, and look at the front for children to offer additional plates and forks (we had to ask for them ourselves). This is currently the best place I've tried sushi.

Ordered the dynamite lunch combo and the teriyaki sushi roll. Everything was okay, except the yam tempura was way too thick, couldn't finish it and the dynamite roll actually tasted fishy. I've never encountered that before and I adore dynamite rolls. Suffice to say I didn't finish it. Teriyaki roll was good though

We ordered through a delivery company and that was a whole issue. When the food arrived it was cold (soup and tempura)….totally cold. There was a hair on the free spring rolls. My “wonton” soup was really gyoza soup. I would have preferred to know that at ordering.

Ordered for take out for the first time which can be pretty hit or miss for sushi places in victoria but it was a really pleasant surprise. I ordered a spicy salmon, their special korean roll and a miso soup. The miso was divine and well balanced and both rolls were delicious. Will definitely be returning
